GT World Challenge Europe
The premier European GT3 championship, featuring a Sprint Cup and Endurance Cup running in parallel, with the 24 Hours of Spa as its centrepiece event.
// Overview
The GT World Challenge Europe is the benchmark for GT3 racing on the continent, split across two parallel competitions: the Sprint Cup (45-minute races) and the Endurance Cup (three-hour races plus the Spa 24 Hours).
The series is organised by SRO Motorsports under Stéphane Ratel, who built GT3 into the global standard it is today. In 2026 the series returns to Portimão for the first time since 2015 as its season finale, and Valentino Rossi returns full-time in the No. 46 Team WRT BMW.
Reigning champions Kelvin van der Linde and Charles Weerts (Team WRT / BMW M4 GT3) defend their 2025 title against a field representing eight manufacturers.
