// Overview
The British GT Championship is entering its 34th season in 2026, with a streamlined six-round calendar after Donington's second event was dropped for economic reasons.
The season opens with the Silverstone 500 — a three-hour race at Silverstone, the first time the circuit has hosted the British GT opener since 2001. The championship then visits Oulton Park, Spa-Francorchamps (an international trip), Snetterton, Donington Park, and Brands Hatch as the finale.
Reigning champions Charles Dawson and Kiern Jewiss — who also raced the No. 222 Mercedes-AMG in the GTWC in 2026 — defend the title they won in 2025.
