Lamborghini
Huracán GT3 EVO2
The Huracán's naturally aspirated V10 is the last of a dying breed in GT3. Every start is a reminder of what racing used to sound like.
// 01 — THE CAR
The Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 is built around a 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 — one of the few remaining engines of this type in the GT3 class. As competitors have moved to turbocharged alternatives, Lamborghini has retained the V10, and the result is a car that sounds and feels completely unlike anything else on the grid.
The EVO2 brings revised aerodynamics, updated suspension geometry, and improved weight distribution over the original EVO. Lamborghini Squadra Corse has refined the car continuously, and the EVO2 is the most complete iteration to date.
// 02 — THE RECORD
Lamborghini's GT3 record is built on broad competitiveness rather than concentrated championship dominance — victories at GTWCE Sprint rounds, in IMSA GTD, and at prestige events including the Bathurst 12 Hour and the Nürburgring 24 Hours.
GRT Grasser Racing Team in Europe and Paul Miller Racing in North America have been the most consistent performers. The Huracán is competitive across a wide range of circuit types and conditions, which matters over a full championship.
// 03 — WHERE THEY RACE
The Huracán GT3 EVO2 competes in GTWCE Sprint and Endurance, IMSA GTD, the IGTC, and national championships in Europe and Asia. Lamborghini's customer base is particularly strong in North America, where the brand's visual identity appeals strongly to the gentleman driver market.
The Lamborghini Super Trofeo series — running in Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific — feeds drivers into the GT3 programme, with top performers earning support for GT3 campaigns.
// 04 — THE PROGRAMME
Lamborghini Squadra Corse runs a more curated programme than the largest manufacturers, but the factory connection is close. Factory engineers attend major events, a technical support line is available throughout the season, and the Super Trofeo provides a clear development pathway.
The programme is deliberately focused — Lamborghini supports a defined number of customer teams at the highest level. For teams within that inner circle, the support is genuine and responsive.
