Orange Racing by JMH is an owner-driver led team at its heart — Simon Orange is both the team founder and one of the two full-time race drivers. The squad presents a professional, commercially backed operation (sponsors include Sale Sharks, William Hare, CorpAcq, BOL Foods, Parkway England, Smith Bros. and Shoppertainment) while retaining the personal investment and passion of a privateer outfit.

Team Manager Jason Hughes oversees trackside operations. The team competes in the Pro-Am class in British GT, where the combination of a seasoned pro (Marcus Clutton, BRDC member) and the improving gentleman driver (Simon Orange) is seen as a credible front-running Pro-Am pairing.

In 2026 the team runs car #67 — Simon Orange and Marcus Clutton — across two championships: the GT Winter Series (completed, finishing Vice Champions) and the British GT Championship (six rounds: Silverstone 500, Oulton Park, Spa-Francorchamps, Snetterton, Donington Park, Brands Hatch). After the Silverstone 500 opener the team sits 1st in the British GT Pro-Am standings with 178 points, having taken second in class at Silverstone.

The team is built around owner-driver Simon Orange, who began racing in 2016 in a Mazda MX5 before graduating to GT cars in 2020, where he won multiple titles in GT Cup including the Overall Championship, while also campaigning in the 24H Series in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

From GT Cup success, Simon stepped up to the Asian Le Mans Series and British GT in 2023, running a McLaren 720S GT3 EVO. The team steadily expanded its programme, adding international rounds and building a more professional operation around its McLaren customer-racing relationship. In 2026 the team entered the full GT Winter Series (European rounds at Portimão, Estoril, Valencia, Aragon and Barcelona) before returning to the UK for a full British GT season — the most ambitious dual-championship campaign to date.

Simon Orange won multiple GT Cup class titles and the GT Cup Overall Championship. In the 2026 GT Winter Series (GT3 class), Orange Racing by JMH took two outright race victories (Valencia Race 2 and Aragon Race 2), earned at least two pole positions, and finished Vice Champions in the GT3 standings. Marcus Clutton is a British GT GT4 class champion (2011), Radical UK champion (2020), and 2024 British Endurance Championship top-class champion.

The team runs the McLaren 720S GT3 EVO under the McLaren Customer Racing programme. The car is powered by a V8 twin-turbocharged engine producing 740 bhp, capable of 0–60 mph in 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 212 mph / 341 km/h. It rides on Pirelli P Zero tyres and features independent adaptive dampers with dual wishbones and Proactive Chassis Control II.
